Judith
Margareta Waterman celebrates her new poetry collection, denouement (nine muses books, 2015). Since founding the small press nine muses in 1987, she has published upwards of seventy books and chapbooks by poets, improvisational musicians, and other writers from the Pacific Northwest. In Seattle, waterman was affiliated with the Seattle Muse Community and served on the board of the Red Sky Poetry Theatre. She produced manifest arts, a series of poetry and performance art videos originally broadcast on TCI. Throughout the nine sections of denouement, waterman investigates the quotidian and the sacred, meditates on death and rebirth, and delectates in passion and beauty.
Judith Roche has won two American Book Awards; her fourth collection of poetry, All Fire All Water, will appear early in 2015. She has taught at all levels from elementary to university. She has poems installed in several Seattle area public art installations and is widely published in magazines and journals.
