Personalized tintype sessions for distinctive portraits. Each image is handcrafted, celebrating slow photography and an authentic experience.
Sessions take place in our 3000-square-foot artist studio and gallery. We begin with a brief consultation and then, using the wet-plate collodion process started in the 1850s, we hand make each 4×5” tintype, one at a time.
Pricing
PORTRAIT SESSION: $105
Each session lasts about 1 hour, includes 1 tintype portrait of 1-3 people and 1 plate. Your varnished plate will be ready for you to pick up the next business day.
TINTYPE SCAN: $35
This high resolution scan can be made into a print or shared digitally.
Specialized Sessions are available, pricing varies depending on details.
